The Labrador Retriever actually came from Newfoundland. The Brits in the early 1800's came to Canada saw the dogs working and brought them home. Somehow they started calling them Labrador Retrievers and the name stuck! The latter half of the 1800's the British worked with the Labrador to give them the thick short haired coat they needed for the cold water work they were doing. The "otter tail" became a rudder for the Lab in turning while swimming and to show how happy he is while out of the water. Watch it, that tail can hurt!
For Bare Feet creates the Realistic Black Labrador Sock on a Charcoal background. In the middle of the Two Inch Cuff in Light Grey reads, "Black Labrador". The sleek finished Black Lab sits on Top your Foot and moves up your Leg. His Eyes are Russett and Black. He is Shadowed with Charcoal and Highlighted with Light Grey. This Sock is a Thin Style.
